Lost another Baby
He was almost 4 weeks old. We took him to the vet, and all tests showed he was perfect. Going through "Fading Kitten Syndrome," nothing we could do. I hand fed him, for the past 36 hrs. since he wouldn't suckle off of Mama. then put him with Mama, where he wouldn't feed. I had to force feed him, which I hated to force, since he didn't want to eat.
I tried my best, even though the vet gave us 2 days max, and he lasted one.
He was under the care of my husband (He takes my love for animals very seriously!!!) he was fed, I made him go potty. I was only gone for 10 minutes.
He was alive when I got home. I saw him breathing. Within one minute, he was gone. He didn't want to leave with us there, just on his own time.
I will always love you Punkin!!! I hope to see you on the other side!!!

Thank you for your love toward all creatures great and small.
I know it's hard, especially when you've put that much time and care into keeping them alive. Anyone who has been around when kittens/puppies are born know that this is often the case. Not all the babies make it. It's heartbreaking, for sure, but it is reality. So sorry for your loss.
