SAN ANTONIO - Fire crews used a ladder truck to rescue a small kitten which became stuck on a highway overpass.
The kitten - named Dale by his rescuers - made his way about 20 feet up onto the overpass several days ago.
Residents tried to coax the animal back down to safety, but the kitten became frightened and was stuck until Tuesday when fire crews were called.
Animal Care Services says the cat is malnourished and has a respiratory infection. He will be put up for adoption once he recovers.

Glad they found him, he's not in good shape but hopefully this means a bright future for him.
