my house just got hit by space junk

I was sitting watching the tv when a huge thud hit my window and I heard glass breaking. There was a metal bar laying on the window box just below the window. I went outside thinking someone clonged my house but there were no footprints in the snow for fifty feet. I looked at the house and a dent next to the window showed it had come in like a bullet from the sky and impaled the house next to the window.

Comforting isn't it? Knowing you can get clobbered at any moment from the sky.

You'll get enough out of some geek to pay for the damages and buy yourself something nice. You can double your payout by including a certificate of authenticity that it was touched by an alien.

Slung this bar at it with a large slingshot. It hit the rotors , and that's the last I saw of both the chopper and the steel bar.

Damn DHS.

TFOA (things falling off aircraft) are not all that unusual. Heck, with the right lawyer, it can be like winning a lottery. If you have the exact date/time, it can be narrowed to one or two aircraft, and the aircraft's maintenance log would clearly show "replace lost metal bar thingie".
