Today has been one month since we had a puppy move in with us.

The puppy is my daughter's and his name is Jake. This is his look when he wants an apple slice:


I mentioned in my original thread that he is our first non-fish pet and that I have been resisting getting a dog for about 20 years. I think I am the only one who recognized how much work having a puppy is and we still don't know for sure what we are going to do when my daughter goes back to work in the fall (she's a teacher).

Regardless, Jake has brought a lot of love and laughter into our house. So celebrating one month.
