Creepy Song Lyrics.

I submit "To Sir With Love" by Lulu:

Those schoolgirl days
Of telling tales, and biting nails, are gone
But in my mind,
I know they still will live on and on

But how do you thank someone
Who has taken you from crayons to perfume?

And "Go Away Little Girl" lyrics by Steve Lawrence

When you are near me like this,
You're much too hard to resist.
So, go away, little girl.
Call it a day, little girl.
Oh, please, go away, little girl,
Before I beg you to stay.
Go away.

"Run For Your Life"

Well I'd rather see you dead, little girl
Than to be with another man
You better keep your head, little girl
Or I won't know where I am

You better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand little girl
Catch you with another man
That's the end ah little girl

Well I know that I'm a wicked guy
And I was born with a jealous mind
And I can't spend my whole life
Trying just to make you toe the line

You better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand little girl
Catch you with another man
That's the end ah little girl

Let this be a sermon
I mean everything I've said
Baby, I'm determined
And I'd rather see you dead

You better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand little girl
Catch you with another man
That's the end ah little girl

I'd rather see you dead, little girl
Than to be with another man
You better keep your head, little girl
Or you won't know where I am

You better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand little girl
Catch you with another man

Nah nah nah

He put it because the label was bugging them for another single and he decided to come up with the ugliest lyrics he could.

In terms of the subject matter, it pairs well with this song, from a few years later:

He is sad and frustrated that his wife is seeking the affections of other men, and he can do nothing about it. This is spelled out clearly in the lyrics.

I don't think it compares at all with the Lennon song, which is just plain scary and awful.

Total stalker song. The bridge, with that pounding repetitive piano note at the beginning, makes me wanna call the cops!

Here we are
In a room full of strangers
Standing in the dark
Where your eyes couldn't see me

Well, I had to follow you
Though you did not want me to
But that won't stop my lovin' you
I can't stay away

Blamin' it all
On the nights on Broadway
Singin' them love songs
Singin' them "straight to the heart" songs
Blamin' it all
On the nights on Broadway
Singin' them sweet sounds
To that crazy, crazy town

Now in my place
There are so many others
Standin' in the line
How long will they stand between us

Well, I had to follow you
Though you did not want me to
But that won't stop my lovin' you
I can't stay away

Blamin' it all
On the nights on Broadway
Singin' them love songs
Singin' them "straight to the heart" songs
Blamin' it all
On the nights on Broadway
Singin' them sweet sounds
To that crazy, crazy town

(BRIDGE)

I will wait
Even if it takes forever
I will wait
Even if it takes a lifetime
Somehow I feel inside
You never-ever left my side
Make it like it was before
Even if it takes a lifetime, takes a lifetime

Blamin' it all
On the nights on Broadway
Singin' them love songs
Singin' them "straight to the heart" songs
Blamin' it all
On the nights on Broadway
Singin' them sweet sounds
To that crazy, crazy town

When you gonna give me some time, Sharona?
When you make my motor run, my motor run,
Gun it coming off the line, Sharona!

Never gonna stop, give it up,
Such a dirty mind, always get it up
For the touch of the younger kind,
My my my my Sharona!

Come a little closer, huh, will ya, huh,
Close enough to look in my eyes, Sharona!
Keeping it a mystery gets to me
Running down the length of my thighs, Sharona!

When you gonna get to me,
Get to me,
Is it just a matter of time, Sharona?
Is it just destiny, destiny,
Or is it just a game in my mind, Sharona?

Excitable boy, they all said

He took in the four a.m. show at the Clark
Excitable boy, they all said
And he bit the usherette's leg in the dark
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy

He took little Suzie to the Junior Prom
Excitable boy, they all said
And he raped her and killed her, then he took her home
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy
After ten long years they let him out of the home
Excitable boy, they all said
And he dug up her grave and built a cage with her bones
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy

Little girl what's your name
Now don't you go looking at me like that
You might see I'm ashamed - what's your name
Talk with me, won't you talk with me

Ooooooh pretty girl
It ain't too hip faking lines you ain't taking
But your lips make me say it that way
Now there's no use you resisting
This is the Cradle Thief insisting
I think you better let me have it my way
Fool around with me, come on mess around with me

[Chorus:]
Will you survive, learn to drive
I know you can't describe the dreams you want to be
Either stay or get away
I'm not playing around, can't you tell the way I'm squeezing
Your hand
I'm just a kid don't make me feel like a man

Silly girl I'm just playing
Now did you think that I'd be nuts enough to try an' pick you up
Don't you know it's a game - it's all a game I've been playing
But what'd you say your name was...
Walk with me... just around the corner baby maybe you could even
Try to talk to me
Damn you talk to me!
Damn you talk to me!

Aug 2014

Standing on the corner watching all the girls go by
Standing on the corner watching all the girls go by
Brother you don't know a nicer occupation
Matter of fact, neither do I
Than standing on the corner watching all the girls
Watching all the girls, watching all the girls go by

I'm the cat that got the cream
Haven't got a girl but I can dream
Haven't got a girl but I can wish
So I'll take me down to Mainstreet
And that's where I select my imaginary dish

Standing on the corner watching all the girls go by
Standing on the corner giving all the girls the eye
Brother if you've got a rich imagination
Give it a whirl, give it a try
Try standing on the corner watching all the girls
Watching all the girls, watching all the girls go by

Saturday and I'm so broke
Haven't got a girl and no joke
Still I'm living like a millionaire
When I take me down to Mainstreet
When I take me down to Mainstreet
And I review the harem
Parading for me there

Standing on the corner
Watching all the girls go by
Standing on the corner
Underneath the springtime sky
Brother, you can't go to jail
For what you're thinking

Or for the woo look in your eye
You're only standing on the corner
Watching all the girls
Watching all the girls
Watching all the girls
Go by

Sleepover by Elysian Fields

My very first sleepover
I guess I was too young
I really was excited
I thought it would be fun
What we gonna do girls
What we gonna play
Put on chubby checker
And twist the night away
Or follow the leader
Follow the leader I said
No that one is for babies
Let's do truth or dare
Then they all played kiss the pillow
And braided each other's hair
Between the peals of laughter
Whispering in each others' ear
They said they had a story
They wanted me to hear
A bad man lives around here
A very very very bad man
He'll come in through the window
With a razor in his hand
Razor razor razor
Watch the windowsill
Razor razor razor
Be very very still
Razor razor razor
He swings it low and high
Razor razor razor
Say your prayers before you die
Take me back home
I really I am scared
Take me back home
I miss my mom and my bed
Follow the leader
Follow the leader I said

Where your eyes don't go a filthy scarecrow waves its broomstick arms And does a parody of each unconscious thing you do When you turn around to look it's gone behind you On its face it's wearing your confused expression Where your eyes don't go

Where your eyes don't go a part of you is hovering It's a nightmare that you'll never be discovering You're free to come and go Or talk like Kurtis Blow But there's a pair of eyes in back of your head

Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking isn't thinking of Should you worry when the skullhead is in front of you, Or is it worse because it's always waiting Where your eyes don't go?

Where your eyes don't go a part of you is hovering It's a nightmare that you'll never be discovering You're free to come and go Or talk like Kurtis Blow But there's a pair of eyes in back of your head

What did her daddy do?
What did he put you through?
They said when Janie was arrested
they found him underneath a train
But man, he had it comin' Now that Janie's got a gun
she ain't never gonna be the same.

Janie's got a gun
Janie's got a gun
Her dog day's just begun
Now everybody is on the run
Tell me now it's untrue.
What did her daddy do?
He jacked a little bitty baby

25. Cherish, Sung by The Association
Mon Aug 11, 2014, 09:08 AM
Aug 2014

Reads like something a stalker would leave pinned to a woman's door.

Cherish is the word I use to describe
All the feeling that I have
Hiding here for you inside
You don't know how many times
I've wished that I had told you
You don't know how many times
I've wished that I could hold you
You don't know how many times
I've wished that I could
Mold you into someone who could
Cherish me as much as I cherish you

Perish is the word that more than applies
To the hope in my heart each time I realize
That I am not gonna be the one
To share your dreams
That I am not gonna be the one
To share your schemes
That I am not gonna be the one to share what
Seems to be the life that you could
Cherish as much as I do yours

Oh, I'm beginning to think that man has never found
The words that could make you want me
That have the right amount of letters
Just the right sound
That could make you hear, make you see
That you are drivin' me out of my mind

Oh, I could say I need you
But then you'd realize
That I want you
Just like a thousand other guys
Who'd say they loved you
Like all the rest of their lies
When all they wanted
Was to touch your face your hands
And gaze into your eyes

Cherish is the word I use to describe
All the feeling
That I have hiding here for you inside
You don't know how many times
I've wished that I had told you
You don't know how many times
I've wished that I could hold you
You don't know how many times
I've wished that I could
Mold you into someone who could
Cherish me as much as I cherish you

And I do
Cherish you
And I do
Cherish you

Cherish is the word

28. I'll throw my eyes into the lake...
Wed Aug 20, 2014, 12:34 AM
Aug 2014

The one eyed old man told me that the face that I will see
Has paralysed a thousand brave men sure of victory
I cannot fight blindfolded and I'd freeze if I should see.
So I need to sacrifice my eyes to see all from within.

The one eyed old man told me of a lake that no-one knows of.
where the end of the sky unites with the bottom countless feet down deep
And he told me when this world was young into it's depths his eye he had thrown
So that though one eyed, he could see more than can be seen.

I'll throw my eyes into the lake.
So that I will see from within
I'll throw my eyes into the lake
And when blind I will still see.

At the bottom of the lake.
My two eyes will shine like the stars
At the bottom of the lake
I will see no matter how near or far
Regardless at which speed my horse
takes me through the night
No matter how sharp the blade of my sword seems to be.
Even with the aid of two pair of eyes way up high
In the end before the Beast, it's face I would have had to see.

But with my two eyes in the depths my vision is supreme
I see all things that can't be seen
but not my hand that is held out in front of me.
The face that makes me freeze
I now need not see at all.
I'll feel the presence of the Beast.
but will not need stare him down no more.

I've thrown my eyes into the lake.
So that I will see from within
I've throw my eyes into the lake
And now when blind I still see.

At the bottom of the lake.
My two eyes are shining like the stars
At the bottom of the lake
I now see no matter how near or far

"The Deeper In" - Drive By Truckers

By the time you were born, there were four other siblings
With your mama awaiting your daddy in jail
And your oldest brother was away at a home
And you didn't meet him 'til you were nineteen years old

Old enough to know better, old enough to know better
But you took to his jaw line and long sandy hair
And he made you feel like none of the others
And the way he looked at you, touched you deep down in there

So you jumped on his bike and rode into the sunset
But the sequel it started with the next morning sun
And the dew on the bike seat and you all a glow
From the love he put in you and a life on the run

So you moved to a small town, then to another
Then to another with another on its way
And you both swore to God we will keep it together
And the State wouldn't take your babies away

Now, the District Attorney said he might of forgiven
You had lots of reasons to turn out this way
But you both go to jail for them four little babies
You made and delivered along the way

Last night you had a dream of a Lord so forgiving
He might show compassion for a heathen he damned
You awoke in a jail cell, alone and so lonely
Seven years in Michigan

You'll stay as beautiful
With dark hair
And soft skin...forever
Forever

Make up your mind
Make up your mind
And I'll promise you
I will treat you well
My sweet angel
So help me, Jesus

(hey, hey, hey)

Give it up to me
Give it up to me
Do you wanna be
My angel?
So help me!

Be my angel
Be my angel
Do you wanna die?
I promise you
I will treat you well
My sweet angel
So help me, Jesus

Jesus
Jesus
Jesus...

Obsessive sex talk that's a little too angry.

Got a big plan, his mind's set, maybe it's right
At the right place and right time, maybe tonight
In a whisper or handshake sending a sign
Wanna make out and kiss hard, wait never mind

Late night, in passing, mention it flip to her
Best friend, it's no thing, maybe it slipped
but the slip turns to terror and a crush to like
when she walked in he froze up, leave it to fright

It's cute in a way, till you cannot speak
And you leave to have a cigarette, knees get weak
escape was just a nod and a casual wave
Obsess about it, heavy for the next two days

It's only just a crush, it'll go away
It's just like all the others it'll go away
Or maybe this is danger and you just don't know
You pray it all away but it continues to grow

I want to hold you close
Skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, and close your eyes girl
So lovely, it feels so right

I want to hold you close
Soft breath, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear
I want to fucking tear you apart

Then he walked up and told her, thinking maybe it'd pass

And they talked and looked away a lot, doing the dance
Her hand brushed up against his, she left it there
Told him how she felt and then they locked in a stare

They took a step back, thought about it, what should they do
Cause theres always repercussions when you're dating in school
But their lips met, and reservations started to pass
Whether this was just an evening or a thing that would last

Either way he wanted her and this was bad
Wanted to do things to her it was making him crazy
Now a little crush turned into a like
And now he wants to grab her by the hair and tell her

I want to hold you close
Skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, and close your eyes girl
So lovely, it feels so right

I want to hold you close
Soft breath, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear
I wanna fucking tear you apart

38. Benny Mardones--Into the Night

She's just sixteen years old
Leave her alone, they say,
Separated by fools
Who don't know what love is yet
But I want you to know

If I could fly
I'd pick you up
I'd take you into the night
And show you a love
Like you've never seen - ever seen
It's like having a dream
Where nobody has a heart
It's like having it all
And watching it fall apart
And I would wait till the end
Of time for you
And do it again, it's true
I can't measure my love
There's nothing to compare it to
But I want you to know...

Little Girls

I, I, I love little girls
They make me feel so good
I love, little girls
They make me feel so bad

When they're around
They make me feel
Like I'm the only guy in town

I love, little girls
They make me feel so good

They don't care if I'm a one-way mirror
They're not frightened by my cold exterior

They don't, ask me questions
They don't, want to scold me
They don't, look for answers
They just, want to hold me

Isn't this fun?
Isn't this what life's all about?
Isn't this a dream come true?
Isn't this a nightmare too?

...

and Insanity (which has a great video)

...

I'd love to take you home with me and tuck you into bed
I'd love to see what makes you tick inside your pretty head
I wish that I could keep you in a precious Chinese box
On Sundays I would pray for you so it would never stop
I'd love to hear you laugh tonight, I'd love to hear you weep
I'd love to listen to you while you're screaming in your sleep
I'd love to soothe you with my voice and take your hand in mine
I'd love to take you past the stars and out of reach of time
I'd love to see inside your mind, to tear it all apart
To cut you open with knife and find your sacred heart
I'd love to take your satin dolls and tear them all to shreds
I'd love to mess your pretty hair, I'd love to see you dead.'
