hay man called me during my dinner break last night to schedule hay delivery. 3 calls back and forth wasted most of my dinner break and I failed to accomplish either of the 2 tasks I had scheduled for that break.
I did, however, schedule my hay delivery for this morning, so I was happy. Truck was already loaded for 1st delivery at 9, then would return and re-load and deliver mine.
So I figured 10ish. Still no sign. I even tried finally taking my long delayed shower, figuring the minute I lathered up I'd hear the truck pull in. No go.
They'll probably show up right at noon. Or worse, come after I've left for work, let themself onto my property and leave the gate wide open. In which case, I'll pay them when it's damn convenient for me instead of on the spot.
Sorry I answered the damn phone now. I told him there was no rush.

The bales seem bigger this year than last. Humongous. Although I only saw the 1st and last ones off the truck, not the middle. But the storage space was possibly tighter than last year!
Phew...I feel so much better when I've got my hay in. Set. For. Year.
