I agree with this critics review of the Strain--sci fi t.v.

1. "The Strain," 10 p.m. Sunday, FX

Fans of "True Blood" and "The Walking Dead" who have not sampled "The Strain" should check out the latest installment. If the "True Blood" series finale was too low-key for you, "The Strain" will ease your disappointment. The vampire drama drops its heroic human characters at a convenience store, where their mettle and ingenuity are tested. "The Strain" doesn't stint on depicting the horrifying consequences of becoming infected with the vampire strain. This is a classic episode filled with building tension, and David Bradley is mesmerizing as the determined vampire hunter. "The Strain" has been one of the real treats this summer.
