Help with computer problem

I have trend mirco for my virsus software, have had it for a while.

Since last night, some webpages have had trouble loading or are very slow to load. While some work as normal.

Youtube's front page takes ages to comeup. Videos do work.

On other sites like Dailymotion/Veoh videos dont play at all. Have never had this problem in the past.

I noticed my trendmicro is now part of the toolbar in firefox, (that hadnt happen before) so I just took it off the toolbar, but the problem still exists.

Ran my updated virus check, and no problem there.

I have three browsers, since last night Safari doesnt work at all.

Im using firefox will this.

The problem with pages and video not loading, are with firefox and google chrome.

Any ideas what it is? do I have to update shockflash or adobe or something?

It wouldn't hurt to check for updates, but my experience has been that when things suddenly go to shit, it's more likely to be something that's just been updated rather than something that's old.

I ran Malwarebytes and also downloaded a new Flash plug-in. That seemed to solve the problem.

In Firefox, go to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions. If anything is suspicious there, or you didn't 'order' it, google it for reputation. If doubtful, disable it.

In Chrome, go to Tools > Extensions. Even minor software updates try to sneak unwanted stuff in here, like ad blockers and tool bars. New tool bars I not only disable, but delete entirely.
