Too weird. I hated that movie, well, disliked. My favorite dystopian movie of that vintage is "A Boy and His Dog". The story is even better... Harlan Ellison. I think it was a novella.

Charlton Heston was always really creepy. He seemed to like sci fi, though. Odd man...not because of the sci fi, though.
