Ever had a dream you thought was reality? I once had a dream that I ran into my cousin and she told

me in the dream that somebody saw my sister and she looked pregnant. This was I think before my sister was married. My cousin was always telling little anecdotes like that. I was over for tea and told my grandmother but forgot it was a dream. I told it like it was an anecdote. My working memory was not the best at that point in my life. Anyhow - a few weeks later I was at the cottage in canoe and my sister asked why I said that. I told her it was a dream. I was so embarrased.

1. Yes, I had a dream that some friends and I were just hanging out

And some guy I didn't know walked in the front door and shot me. My friends jumped him, got the gun, called 911 and tried to take care of me. The dream continued as the EMTs got there, got me on the stretcher and started taking care of me. It ended when I passed out from lack of blood.

The whole thing was so realistic that when I woke up at first I expected to be in the hospital. It took me a few weeks before my mind finally accepted that it was a dream and not a real memory.

I wonder if the "me" in some alternate reality was shot that night and I caught the echo of it?
