What little indulgence do you stop and buy if you happen upon them? I buy cheap rings. The cheaper

and gaudier the better. I have two piles of them. Bought one today for $12. I just like to look at them on my hand (though only one at a time). I find myself in hospitals these days and there always seems to be a jewelry kiosk there with the latest gaudy rings.

Really, any cute little animal. Today I actually bought a package of Beatrix Potter characters, they are made from gummy candy, but very detailed. I am going to leave them in their package and hope they dry out nicely.

I am hoping you can see these through the cellophane, I don't want to open them because I think they may dry nicely after a couple years

Or trees, depending on the time of year! I buy all they've got and go home and zone out on 'em.

for cheap rings, although they're not real gaudy or anything...

1 Sale a Day

I have a white sapphire in sterling silver ring and have ordered a "Mystic Topaz" ring which I'm waiting for.

Anyway, I buy pens.

And those weird little doodads they have at the checkout counters. Voodoo dolls you soak in water and they grow. Nail files made of glass. Keychains with rubber animals attached that have pieces of poo that come out the ass when they're squeezed. Lipsticks and lip gloss...if they glow in the dark, all the better.

Little UV keychain flashlights.

The weirder the better...

PS...I used to buy nail polish all the time, which was insane because I hate wearing it...even the clear stuff. Broke myself of that habit...
