World Series tickets.

Surprise, surprise: Tickets to witness the Giants third World Series trip in five seasons wont come cheap. But passes to the games at AT&T Park are looking like a bargain, at least compared to those at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
Weve already detailed how expensive parking is near the stadium and how tickets to past playoff games have cost a lot of cash. That trend continues with the three potential World Series games against the Royals in San Francisco.
Below is a chart showing the average price of tickets sold for each game so far on ticket re-seller site StubHub, where thousands of seats are still available. It should be noted that the prices often drop as the games get closer and sellers have to settle.

I imagine Dungeness crab is, too.

(8,492 posts)1. My poor kid almost got into a car accident.
He has PTSD and was driving by the stadium when explosions starting going off. His comment, "Well, I guess since I didn't end up in a ditch...gratz, Royals!"
It's funny and sad, at the same time. He told me later he had to pull off to the side of the road to catch his breath. He doesn't follow baseball, so had no idea what was going on.

(10,893 posts)3. I heard WS
tix were expensive in general, but goddamn! I would've been kicking myself if the A's somehow did make it there this season. There's no way I can pay $1000 just for one ticket on my budget.

(7,720 posts)4. There is a 29 year pent up demand in KC.
The Giants have been in 3 of the last 5 World Series. I wish for KC to win in seven exciting games.
