At least DU will be relevant for a long time to come!

Yeah, I'm frustrated and disappointed. But at least I have this place to commiserate, regroup, and re-energize.

I found this place TEN years ago in November... feeling wounded and sad. Ten years later and ten thousand posts later, I have made so many friends here. I have learned from many people from all over the world and witnessed the kindness of strangers that make you feel glad to be alive.

The trolls and haters that pop up only affirm to me that there's something very strong and influential here that some want to tear down. But it's not gonna happen.

How did YOU find DU and do you think you will be here ten years from now?

I didn't join, opting to join commongroundcommonsense.org instead.
Of course that went defunct, so I ended up joining DU after that.

I miss the people from cgcs, but I am slowly getting to know people here.

I will probably be here 10 years from now, if I'm still around.

they are now gone. I think the people who told me about DU are also not around anymore. They went to facebook.

(I might give in, if I ever get married and have a kid or something, and the lady wife would be posting all that cuteness. I probably will not have my own account even then.)

just by typing some anti-Republican terms into Google when I was bored. I have been here since April 2012, and so far I don't see any reason why I won't still be here in a decade.

Will I be here in 10 years..? Not if someone finally gets around to inventing flying cars.
If not, yeah, sadly I'll still be around.

I was just "Lady Freedom" then. I was told about the sight by one of my college teachers.

As long as the site is up. I will be.
