Daughter's wedding is tomorrow afternoon, and my car won't start!
Re-planning underway, friend coming to pick me up so I can get to hair place for tomorrow instead of today, after I learned my 'stylist' is away this week. Will dress at friend's house tomorrow for wedding, after hair done by someone I don't know!
Will pick up rental car today at enterprise after friend arrives at my cottage, which is about 60 miles from friend's house and where I'll rent car.
Will think about repairs to my car Saturday or after, when I can wait for AAA to pick it up, and find nearby mechanic.
Thanks for reading. Had to set this out.

Just repeat after me, it will be fine. it will all work out. it will be fine. it will all work out. Maybe it will work out into stories that seem funny way far in the future....but it will work out.

(130,973 posts)I do that trip often, every week or so. And yes, I'm sure it will seem funny sometime, and must say that I have few if any things to DO beyond show up. Groom's mother is seriously creative, and lives 5 minutes away from them while I'm 30 miles away, so she's undertaken large projects. Nothing like having an artist in the family!

(130,973 posts)and after the wedding I'll stay at hotel near wedding party restaurant, at daughter's suggestion, so while they'll be recovering from the event, I'll relax. Asked for a room with a view!

My Mom and Dad are still married.
Cheers to your daughter and her hubby!

(130,973 posts)Am renting a car in the morning, after having hair done and before dressing for the occasion, and then heading back to southern MD 60 miles.
Right now the politics of yesterday is bugging me, and Arizona deleting procreation from high school honors text books!
