Saw a new product that might be of interest: The cat bib

http://catgoods.com/

I saw it in action this weekend and it seems to work.

I was visiting someone and asked, "What's the deal with the bib?"

Apparently, it makes a HUGE difference.

That being said, I still firmly believe that pet cats should be kept indoors, so no flames please.

at first i thought the bib was for cats who were messy eaters

wonder if it would stop them from getting bunnies

(we had a bunny massacre in our yard a number of years ago--it was horrible!)

it pissed him off so much that at first he wouldn't take so much as a step in it. He'd been a feral cat till my cat-lover dad adopted him, so Harold liked to spend time outside - catching birds, of course. Even after Harold got used to the bib, he couldn't climb trees with it on and Dad was afraid a dog might get Harold, so we traded the bib for a collar with bells to warn birds that Harold was nigh. The jingly collar pissed Harold off too, but the birds appreciated it.

Edited to add a picture of Harold with my little sister, just for the heck of it.

But if the bib works, that's great.

I got sick and tired of losing cats because they got run over by cars. Lost a lot of good ones. The current pair of cats, now 11 years old, have been indoor cats since they were rescued from a shelter
