Glad this holiday is one for the record books.

I have no idea why, but I am always sick on major holidays.

This year was no exception. One year it was norovirus (the gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving).

Most often it's a cold I acquire while traveling.

Last year was the flu (this year I did get a shot, so I should avoid that particular scourge this year). I mad the mistake of taking Tami-Flu, which just made me vomit. Gross.

This year, one of the small children at our Thanksgiving had some kind of bug and I think I got it. I'm not sure because, although I was sick once, the symptoms also seem like I just ate something that disagreed with me.

I was at my boyfriend's. He lives with her daughter and two grandsons. Another daughter was visiting with her kid. So it was a houseful.

It was noisy and chaotic. I had basically no sleep and I feel like crap. Not sure I want to go anywhere for Christmas.

As we sometimes say, it's not a holiday unless someone cries (and/or vomits, apparently).
