That was terrible


I would ask if the will help us solve some of the problems we have. Poverty, Pollution and Prejudice are just 3 that start with the letter "P".

If they have religion and if so what it is (they are) like. Would be a secondary concern for me. Evolution is way down the list.

And I wouldn't expect that an interstellar civilization would have solved basic issues which are endemic to economics, industrial development and cultural integration any more than we have.

OTOH, learning about a second biotic system and how it evolved would be a great help in understanding our universe.

I would hope that they had solved some issues that we have not. Medical perhaps. Technological for certain. The is no way to speculate about their social issues but it would be reasonable to assume that it can't be any worse than ours.

Evolution can wait. People are suffering all around the world while we destroy our planet.
