Has this ever happen to you and your dog?

So a minute ago I was kissing Lance on his head. Which he loves. That area started to get extremely hot. With my other dog Sara (rest in peace) the same thing would happen.

everyday before leaving for work and then on the head
He only allows one snout kiss (heck, he's a poodle and you know how they are...)
Would it be because of your breath making his head warmer or is it more than that?
Ask his doctor

where I kissed him. Sometimes it only takes one kiss. I should have said that it's on the spot where I kiss him. The rest of him is normal temp.
