Nothing specific, just noticed the "type" of reviews. nt Tommy_Carcetti Dec 2014 #2

their experience at said business/diner/restaurant. Fluffy speech, self-important, hyper-critical.
I always look at what % of the reviews are like that. And it's usually pretty small.

- "on point," which has no meaning. "The steak tartare was on point." What does this tell me? Not a damn thing.

- "amazing," which shows their stupidty. "The most amazing mac-and-cheese I've ever had!" Honey, if you are amazed by a piece of food, you're either stupid or ignorant. Food is not "amazing."

- "i really wanted to like this place." Hackneyed expression they always use to preface a bad review, but they don't want to appear like an insufferable snob. Give it a break and just tell it like it is without trying to make yourself look good, tootsie.

When a review says "on point" it means they watch Chef Gordon Ramsay. He says this all the time!
