http://blog.sfgate.com/ontheblock/2015/01/12/weird-houses-including-a-few-local-ones/Sometimes the preponderance of bad news in the world makes us crave something frivolous, but still interesting, like this: a tour of some of the worlds oddest houses. We borrowed a few from the Business Insider, whose list of the 16 weirdest homes on Earth reminds us that home can mean many things to many peoplesome of those things more recognizable than others. We then focused on strange ugly, strange beautiful and just plain really strange in the USA. We also added a few local architectural oddities right here in our own Bay Area back yards. Lots more information on each place is found in the captions in the gallery above.
So enjoy what may be not be profound news, but perhaps a welcome break.

(46,337 posts)1. There's an odd house, here in Sheboygan.
It's 3 domes, one of the domes being a garage.

These are wonderful structures. I do wonder how you would live in some of them, though...
Thanks for the smile!

Loved it.
And I had to look at all of them because I just knew there would be a flying saucer house in there.
