Around 7 a.m on Monday, a truck carrying crates of bees and a big rig carrying frozen chicken collided on the highway near Coachella, Calif., KESQ reported.

Both trucks burst into flames; one was completely destroyed.

The bees — well, they took the opportunity to escape. According to the Associated Press, they were buzzing wildly around the scene of the crash — again, nightmares — and a beekeeper was called to get the situation under control.

Barbecued Charred chicken lay strewn across the road. Traffic was backed up for miles.
