gratuitous kitteh pic - the last i will ever have of the two of them together

it is formerly fat cat's time, so we make that final trip to the vet in the morning. she and the dim one have never had much use for each other, but husband busted them doing this today. this photo is so beautiful and is just destroying my heart right now, but i will treasure it forever.

i spent two hours skyping with her first human this morning and we swapped many memories of her. our sweet mia is curled up on the husband's lap and mira is curled at his side. she's had a good nearly 15 years and as heart broken as i am tonight, i will perform the final act of love without hesitation. i am really wondering how mira is going to react. they've been together for about 14 years and she's never been an only kitteh.

i will miss you for forever, my love.
