Hello DU!
I don't know how many of you remember me but I used to post here years ago. Not long after President Obama was sworn in, I was approaching my 1,000th post, which was quite a milestone for me because I didn't post much to begin with. I wanted to do something really special with it, but it never happened, and while I was waiting fir the perfect post, life intervened.
Many years past and though I stopped posting I never stopped visiting DU for News and positive energy. Salmonchanted Evening's Lolcats posts are still a highlight of my Sundays.
A lot has changed since my last post. I lost a job, but then went back to school and earned a bachelor's degree. Struggled to find work after graduation, and while working a seasonal gig at a tourist trap in South Carolina, I met the love of my life.
We got married on March 11th last year.
About a week later I got a decent paying VFX job on the other side of the country in California. It's still a struggle, but at it's gotten a little easier for me to support us. Now we're living in L.A and she's diving headfirst into the world of indie game development. I couldn't be more proud of her and I want to do everything in my power to help her succeed.
Now I know what I want my very special 1,000th post to be...
Our one year anniversary is tomorrow, and as my gift to her, I want to share her game's Facebook page as far and wide as I possibly can.
It's going to be a fun, challenging game featuring an adorable little kitten. With that in mind, I couldn't think of a more appropriate place to share than the DU Lounge.
Please help me support a female game developer that I love very much. Like and share the Facebook page below. Let's DU this! It will make her very, very happy.

We definitely need more kitten lovers here. 
We'll be expanding into promoting on twitter, instagram, etc, eventually, but we're still figuring out how they work, (neither one if us are social media gurus). I would even dust off my old Myspace profile if I thought it would help.

I finally think I've figured out how to post pictures on here again (apparently it's changed in my prolonged absence.) Anyway here is some of my wife's work! I couldn't be more proud of her.
I just "liked" her Facebook page & the game looks fun. Can never have too many kitteh games.
