They lock you into a two-year contract, so be prepared to make the commitment. After that you pay monthly. I pay $31.95 a month for a single membership. You can bring a guest during the hours the place is staffed. They run special sales for membership at certain times of the year. It is probably a good idea to call about the specials.

There is an orientation to show members how to use the equipment. There are trainers on staff during daytime and evening hours. It is possible to hire individual trainers, and special classes are offered.

The place is clean and friendly. I feel safe there at any hour. The body builders and gym rat types are not snotty, and they do not seem to hog the equipment. In other words, everyone seems to use good gym etiquette. All ages and body types seem to be present and comfortable.

I have been a member for about four years. I like it there.
