(47,209 posts)The W on the forehead?
Also, has there been anything in particular to make them mistrust the new town, or do they just figure that every group eventually gets screwy and falls apart?
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)Back in Richmond? They ran into a truck or something that had a bunch of corpses that were all cut up in it? The corpses fell out onto their car. All those corpses had the letter W carved into them as well. There was also the "WOLVES ARE COMING" carved into the wall outside the homes there - or, painted on the wall. So, I think the W means Wolves... (certainly not W Bush...)
Couple that with the girl Enid reading a comic book called "Wolf Fight" and I think we'll be seeing some human wolves tonight or next episode.

(47,209 posts)I was catching up on a few. Wow, a truck of corpses? Gotta go back and find that.
Are you the guy I talked to about Rex cats?
I can't remember, just remember it was someone cool from CT. Just saw my Patsy's grandma on Animal Planet. Lol.

(49,445 posts)There is no police force and justice system to investigate, prosecute, and imprison him.
The group has to deal with this in the same time-worn way tribes have been dealing with people.
* Execution
* Exile
* Corporal punishment
* Forced labor/slavery
They don't have the resources to imprison him for years at a time. That's a useless mouth to feed and several more people to act as guards.

(56,828 posts)is the only black man in the cast... two down the past few episodes with Tyreese and Noah.
I think Deanna is pretty sharp, so she was just being political/diplomatic by saying what she said. She's still too much the politician to say, "Sorry dude, you're full of shit."
Joe Shlabotnik
(5,604 posts)So presumably at some point she's either going to alert Rick, or confront Deanna. Or both.

(46,753 posts)to the time he was killed?
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)He tried to save Tyreese.
Baitball Blogger
(46,753 posts)The only use for his death in this storyline is that it may convince Deanna's husband that their son's death was a real tragedy, and not caused by Glen's negligence. That's the only reason I see for Glen not mercy killing Noah or Adrian. He can say that there was no time to react-also, it shows that he made every effort.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)but, I'd need to think about it a bit more.

(46,753 posts)The natural assumption is that Jessie's husband is abusing his wife and kid. What if it's the other way around?
What if Jessie is the one who is doing the abusing? If Carol and Rick proceed with their grand plan, they will make a mistake that is worthy of booting them out.
It makes sense because the boy destroyed his mother's art work. Why would he inflict more pain on her, unless it was the only way to get even? Afterall, Carol is teaching him how to empower himself, in a very twisted way.

(56,828 posts)Just had a laugh at some memories that provoked - this one guy I knew would take just about any action a woman took as to her flirting with him, "Oh, she turned her back on me - she's just playing hard to get." "Oh, she's talking to that other guy - she just wants to make me jealous..."
but, she didn't have to give him a haircut. She didn't offer a haircut to Daryl or Glenn, or even Carl
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)shampoo a few hundred times.
It's her job there- haircuts? Yeah, you can't really say she's flirting by offering haircuts, but maybe they wanted to slant it that way, make us wonder.
I used to be very friendly with coworkers of both sexes, had to learn to stop touching (or punching) them on the arms or smiling and laughing too much. Funny it was always people looking on who were concerned, and none of these people hit on me. It was guys I ignored or were cold to that hit on me.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)so far, they've followed Alexandria fairly close to the comics - the scene with Abraham saving the woman and Tobin saying that Abe should be the construction leader was right out of the comics. The meet & greet party as well. If Jessie were the abuser, then it would be a twist.
