I can't even walk through the kitchen without having to grab one and eat it. But the cats don't like them at all so I can enjoy them without being bothered, and I can't say the same about trying to eat a roast beef sandwich.

our border collie mix dog appearing immediately to demand his share.
I've never seen a dog so tense and focused as Newman when there's the scent of banana in the air.
Not sure if it's the snap of the peel breaking open or the scent, but he's always instantly on hand and 100% focused on the fruit.

We're fairly certain he's part border collie and part fruit bat.

My cousin has a cat that is like this with muskmelon.
The cat will just about kill itself to get a chunk of muskmelon.

I've seen pictures and videos of cats happily munching away on corn on the cob too.

And he loved the husks even more. I'd be husking corn and he'd be all over it. Nom, nom, nom.

loved to lick a banana after I took my first bite. He's enjoy it for about a minute and then walk away contented. He was an orange tabby.

If I don't wash out the can or dish after making some, they'll have their face in it in minutes tops.

with all three cats and the dog. Most anything else is fair game to at least initially explore and reject. Two of my cats won't eat any kind of people food at all. They other was a feral and will beg for anything and will eat most of it, too, if permitted, so she has to be watched.

Every single time I eat anything, no matter what it is, he comes over, sniffs around, puts his paw on my hand, looks into my eyes pleadingly. He is terrified of me not giving him a taste of something yummy. He eats all sorts of crazy things, even broccoli.
