my cat would come get me if I wasn't home by 5:15. He would jump on my work window ledge and meow like crazy.

I did plenty of the lunchtime cat naps, too.

I live .9 miles from my job and go home for lunch on the days that I am not calling on clients. So much fun to cuddle with the kitties and get that power nap in.

The only thing better was when I worked at home for the company before this...I traveled around the US but those days and weeks I was home...nirvana. Roll out of bed at 8 am, turn on the computer and I was at work! Loved being home with my kitties all day long. Miss that now...

Living 'five mintues' away from work equates to three 12oz. Martinis, all consumed within a fifteen minute period.

It's kinda like saying that after a hard, shitty day's work, tonight's gonna be a twelve-pack'er, or 'seventeen mintues'.
