A fox chased one of my cats. The cat ended up on the highest thing inside that he could find. The fox stood at the edge of the woods with a clump of cat fur in his mouth. I watched from a window.

Then the fox spit out the fur, raised his leg and pissed on it. The meaning was very clear to fox, cat and human.
