Did everyone say "rabbit" when they got up this morning...?

...we've said "rabbit" the morning of the first of the month in our family forever. My Mom did it, her grandmother did, and *her* grandmother did...we are--on my maternal side--very old CT Yankees, and I learned recently that saying rabbit is an old English custom that transplanted itself here. I still do it--ahem--religiously... (And please--no atheist trolls, OK? I'm kidding...) It brings you luck...and *not* doing it brings you bad luck. Of course, as a good child of the Enlightenment, I don't take this seriously. Still--you never know...

Anyhow, I say pretty much the same thing every morning: "Oh, hell..." or sometimes, "Cat, get off my face!"

Really? I have never heard of that thing.

But then again, I scream aloud every time I go over a bridge or through a tunnel just for kicks.
