LOS ANGELES (AP) — Legendary "Lawrence of Arabia" actor Omar Sharif is battling Alzheimer's disease, his agent Steve Kenis confirmed to The Associated Press on Monday.

Some of the strategies puzzled me, like making your partner waste his/her last trump, even though the partner could have used that card to trump some other suit.

My thoughts and support go to his family as well as himself.

I have the videos and cannot believe even today how impressive everything about that movie was: the photography was amazing, the acting incredible, the story gripping. I think it was one of the best films ever made.

I will never forget that one scene when he was walking home from the war in the snow. Incredible.

So sad to read this about one of my favorite actors.
