I had to cut the grass today...

in MARCH...I've never cut the grass in March. It was high and thick in my backyard. Didn't have to do the front.....yet. I will next week.

Over 70 today. Gonna be in the mid-high 60's the rest of the week. Next Tuesday it will be 77!

I am enjoying the windows being open and using no heat or air.

Last year it was June before I cut it, and only cut it again in September. Had a real lack of rain, like 20+inches.

It's been in the 80s here already. Record or near-record highs.

So far, we've only got onion grass really growing, but as it's going to rain tomorrow, and we've got trees flowering all over the place, I expect the little bit of actual grass will be growing soon. In any case, since my lawn is about 70% onion grass, I'll have to mow that stuff at least.
