but considering that the number of alerts in the Forum Hosts folder finally slowed down after a train wreck of a week (on DU and my personal life) a little joviality to relieve the tension is therapeutic.

As an added bonus the kitty that I found last week is finally getting her pooper under control and I'm not having to do laundry as frequently. The poor girl was stressed out being separated from her momma and seems to be enjoying her new home and my lap.

Thanks for helping volunteer here. I really don't know much about that kind of thing. I do enjoy posting and reading here, and appreciate anyone who volunteers like you. I think people, like all animals, really have a strong desire to communicate with others. Think also of the people here who are differently abled, and may not have as many other options for communication. It helps knowing this place is here, day or night.

I'm glad you found a kitty and glad it's doing better now. We all need to unwind and enjoy some laughs. Preferably as often as possible.

In case you haven't seen it yet, I'm posting President Obama's eulogy for Beau Biden today. Watch it whenever you have time. I don't even know who you're supporting for President or what your thoughts are on the President, it doesn't matter to me. As a person, this is just so touching and uplifting, and if you haven't watched it yet I hope you enjoying seeing it, at your leisure.

But I get beaten all the time. I can't count how many other members' posts I've marked as DUzys or saluted in some way. When somebody else tops me, I'm almost relieved (pun intended ). Being beaten is part of the fun. The more players, the more fun, and the more winners. I don't have a leak on it. Oops...I mean lock.

I was just riffing on the whizz. As for puns, you're the champ dude. You've gotta accept that. It's awesome. Yes, I don't see anything as a zero-sum game either. I'm often pretty blown away by the intelligence & wit of some of the posts here. Most definitely there's some sharp folks. Sometimes I truly laugh out loud. Others, like the ones that act like they are always smarter than everyone else at every single thing, I give a one-fingered salute. Oh and your post just gave a whole new meaning to the term wiki leaks. Now I'm thinking of it as someone on a bus in Hawaii who just can't hold it in.
