1. Locking thread.

Referring to another thread is clearly disruptive meta and is intended to test the patience and endurance of the forum hosts that are still awake at 3 in the morning. To top it off you are taking valuable time away from the kitty in my lap who demands attention and is now giving me the evil eye.

Note: I'm kidding and not locking the thread.

I have no idea what possible meta I could have been parodying, other than parodying a parody of yet another thread

A frequently employed tactic used by disruptors to sneak commentary past the hosts and jurors. Even worse than meta because it is adding an element of deceit on top of offensive behavior. MIRT will be examining your posting history you troublemaker.

for those that don't recognize it.

Which is usually impossible to do, except in situations where different mods have conflicting interests in a thread. One locks it, another unlocks it, and so on

is when a host posts a reply to an OP and then becomes distracted and doesn't complete the super powers portion before a reply occurs. Another host cannot unlock a thread made by the first host that takes that made the lock.
