First , it was apparent he was calling from a call-bank, boiler room . Second, he was struggling with the language-but still had a pat routine down. "Hello, sir. I am calling from Windows Support to help you with your internet problems which have been noticed at Windows support."
Well, I couldn't resist. "Yes, I have been having problems with my windows. They fog up in the morning and the front one is sticking."
"Oh, no, sir. This is Windows support for your computer."
"Why do I want a window for my computer?"
This went on for a few minutes, till I questioned him about his company being certified by Microsoft to even sell some sort of support. After hitting him with , "Is Mr. Gates aware of your company?" , he went on to say I really needed their support regardless of Mr. Gates.
Then I asked how and why did he even call me. How was he aware I even owned a computer since he called me- is his company hacking into the internet.
By this time he was off the written script asking me to be quiet so he could explain his "service" which involved remote control take-over of my computer. At this point, I told him I didn't even have a computer just to see what he would say and he said...
"Fuck you, you mother fucker" and hung up.
Best laugh of the day.
