Here we go, more Lounge expertise needed: Cement/concrete, tomb

Here's the deal:

* Start with thinking the cemetery scene from Easy Rider.

* My grandparents are buried in a lesser place that looks like that. Historic.

* My 102 yr old uncle was paying a laborer/gardener to weed my grandparents' plot to weed it. He died.

* My elderly sister and I discussed our taking over paying. We have much richer relatives who don't care.

* I had a brilliant idea: Cementing it over, no more gardener.

* It's 9' x 7'. Needs to be white cement/concrete, 3" deep.

* Small project. How much?

that I do what I told him I wanted to do. 3" deep, with wire squares.

Really, this question is about cement/concrete work, no decorations, just slick white pretty stuff 3" deep.

$3 square foot labor, probably a couple yards of concrete (maybe $300 around here)

permits and busybody bureaucratic stuff will run more

9. Yeah, that came up in this Google Search discussion, too. There *is* a border/retaining "collar"?

I asked about a slight curve on top to run off rain, but the cemetery dude was emphatic about keeping the top flush with the (collar?). I'll try to find a pic of what I'm talking about.

On Edit: Here's something similar. Ours has a wider border width, about 6" all around, looks a little better than this:
