What's everybody drinking tonight?

Having some pizza and drinking with Will Shakespeare. Ask us anything.

I gave will a nice imported Scottish ginger beer to try.

"Nice, that, lad. Sweet and yet tart. Like a gingery slap o' th'tongue".

Distilled in Ft Worth and available in Texas and NOLA only. Smooth with vanilla accents and a hint of wood and pecan. A couple ounces can last an hour or so. A lot of nose and a smooth burn at the end.

If you enjoy spirits and have a Texas contact you can trust not to drink it give it a try!

Nothing high-octane-- in fact, I shouldn't even be drinking apple cider because it's loaded with sugar.
I've sworn off Coca-Cola after finding out how freaking unhealthy it is.

It's hard for me because I hate tea and coffee-- beer and wine-- weird, huh? I just never developed a taste
for them.

(He said, just having finished an entire bottle of wine single-handedly...). I tell all my patients, even the ones with diabetes, than an occasional treat is okay.

I remember when I was a kid, my Dad would give me a sip of his beer, or my mother would give me a taste of wine, and I hated it; I thought it was awful, and wondered how they could drink it.

Well, I found out how.

My ancestry is Welsh, Scots, Irish, English, and French, so it was more or less inevitable...

My ancestry is not nearly as multi-faceted as yours. I'm just Scots and English-- but mostly Scots

And when I was a kid, my Dad allowed me to finish off the froth of his beer-- I loved it. You'd think I'd be a real beer freak, but no. Maybe I got it out of my system early. ??

Wine always tasted sour.

with some german and dutch mixed in as well, and yes, it was pretty much inevitable, lol! i hated the taste as a kid too, but my sis and bro liked it straightaway, and used to sneak booze from the parents' liquor cabinet.

i really didn't acquire a taste for liquor until i was in my late 20's, but that age has come and gone. now, it's usually rum or vodka when i drink, cause i don't care for beer and wine unfortunately, gives me stomach pain.
