The Grateful Dead -- I went to Saturday's concert

at Levi Stadium, and enjoyed it immensely. This is one of five "Fare The Well" concerts. For a bunch of guys in their seventies, this was not the tail end of a 50 year career playing out the end of a tired string. They were filled with energy and played the classics with renewed gusto. Fireworks from nearby Great America erupted at the start of their second set, and they played till midnight.

Like "The Eleven", etc. And avoided the 80's lamer songs. Sounds like it was pretty good.

the second set was:

That's It For The Other One
Dark Star
St. Stephen
The Eleven
Space/Rhythm Devils
The Other One
Walk Me Out In The Morning Dew

like a night from 68-70. Trey Anastasia was clearly having the best time in his whole life.
