Will Erin go Braless?
I'm going to a party where the host has brewed his own stout. 20 gallons. Yum. I'm bringing my bagpipes, too.

Just a fan who got a short waive radio back 1978-79. I used to get the matches from south africa via the BBC- I was a glory hunter before I knew what a glory hunter was

(8,492 posts)...that I'll be able to spend with my son!!! It will also be the first St. Pat's with my DIL. She bought a St. Pat's t-shirt and we've painted our nails matching orange. I also bought her one of those silly plastic hats with all the glitter. She loves American holidays more than I do! She looks like a little Japanese leprechaun.
We'll start off with corned beef/cabbage and potatoes, then offta hear some friends bands play downtown...if that damned storm doesn't dump a foot of snow on my head.

(8,692 posts)Free show at SXSW. Can't wait!!
geardaddy
(24,931 posts)It sounds like a blast.
It was back in the day. Now it's just too crowded, too expensive. Even if you buy wristbands you're still not guaranteed entry to all shows...BUT there are always some amazing free shows, showcases of new talent, and "off the books" shows- that's the fun stuff!

(1,495 posts)We got a bottle for Thanksgiving and everyone thought it was smooth but had quite the kick. I'm not the biggest whiskey drinker but I really enjoyed it. Sláinte!

(72,790 posts)Then maybe going out, but not because it's St. Patrick's Day. I'll probably get out of work early, which is rare, so going to go and enjoy it!
