Prime is the name of their free shipping video streaming package. Otherwise lots of "deals" are planned for the day.

I looked at some of the 'deals.' Nothing unusual or impressive. They have deals all year. This one has just been hyped in social media and in press releases.

those great deals were hard to actually purchase.

I got told multiple items were sold out within seconds of them being offered at the Prime Day prices.

Did manage to get a nice Japanese watch, some workout shake mix and some anti virus software, though.

Walmart and Newegg.com are offering better deals. Amazon has a few good deals, but tons and tons of crap.

Good deals (if the lined out price is to be believed) on crap I don't need or want, but so-so discounts on the stuff I am in the market for - gas grill, TV, bakeware, etc.

Not impressed.

Give me a 60" HD Smart TV for $650 and we'll be on to something.

And, for those of you in the market for a Diane Keaton t-shirt, or a family pack of brass knuckles... (family pack? )
