Sophie Stinkey Toes and the Giant Hydrangea

My hydrangea plant has been spectacular, this year. Yesterday we had heavy rains and the water weighed down the largest stem/bloom to the point where it snapped off. So, I rescued it and put it in a vase. Just to give the size some perspective, I invited little Sophie to investigate the bloom. I also invited Boudicca, but she lost interest, as is illustrated by her butt exiting the view, on the upper right side of the photo.
