3. Mine always hit the feeders really hard

a constant presence and then "poof" they are gone. I rarely see them again until the next spring. I think they stay close to their nests once the eggs are laid. I don't actually know this but this is how it is every year here. I have a lot of wooded areas here on the farm so there are lots of places for them to be hidden away.

with their young ones. About a week ago they quit coming to either the oriole feeder (nectar) or the jelly. We still get a lazy-ass robin, who should be eating earthworms but eats grape jelly, coming all the time.
