2. I have to admit--I never quite got into Deadpool...

...and I'm not sure why. I've been a Marvel fan since 1960--*before* FF #1--and have seen it all come and go, at least until very recently...they--the powers at Marvel--clearly don't give a damn about their veteran readers, and I've decided to oblige them by not giving a damn anymore in return. But Deadpool--he always seemed almost a generic wise-cracking character; I never felt he had a real persona of his own. But that's probably more my problem than his; I am, after all, hopelessly ancient and unwith-it. I will certainly see the film...
