anybody have experience with the LoJack tracking system?

Our neighborhood has had a rash of car break-ins and one car theft but police found it easily with the LoJack system and it was parked a few streets over near an apt. complex. Since I have a new car I'm considering that system.

Would like some info on anti-theft devices.

I keep the car locked up and never leave anything in it (e.g.change for tolls). Unlocked cars are getting pilfered and we think the thief is local. There is a neighborhood email tree and we're all getting the messages. They are all being reported to the police.
