Sea Shepherd Philadelphia/Cape May Harbor Cleanup

Sea Shepherd Philadelphia Harbor Cleanup - Cape May, NJ
Sat, 12 Sep, 2015 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Join Sea Shepherd Philadelphia and Clean Ocean Action for a beach clean up at Cape May!

The Beach Cleanup events are more than people picking-up trash from beaches. This program builds community support for solutions, as well as raises awareness about the negative impacts of litter on wildlife and the ocean. Citizens learn about the types and quantities of debris found along the coast and the shorelines of rivers, lakes, and streams.

For a successful beach clean up, we must follow the tips below:

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Bring & wear your own gloves (all other materials will be provided)
Dress for the weather
Stay out of the dunes
Respect wildlife

Please consider joining Sea Shepherd in taking direct action here at home.

Just thought some people in the Phila./Cape May area would be interested in this
