I can't imagine in days gone by" how people managed without A/C. Of course, it hadn't been invented yet (makes a difference) but can you imagine people withstanding temps of 95+ ? Ugh!!

Only halfway joking because after acclimating myself to the summer high desert heat I get a chill when the temp drops, even when it's still very warm.

14. It's funny how people talk about weather

We love to talk about our extremes, as if it's a contest. It's hot here in the SoCal high desert summer, but I can't help wondering, if it's that hot here, how hot is it in Palm Springs or Phoenix?

The main thing is that you get to enjoy your patio when things are right. And who can argue with that?
