I usually don't watch "sports" movies, but I will catch it when it comes on cable.

When they came up with the diagnosis of repetitive head trauma, I knew what it was. Even though I am not an athlete, I have had four concussions, two serious, two mild. After the fourth I began noticing deficits in my abilities. I lose words, I am more emotional than I used to be and lose my temper more often. Even though the last concussion was over twenty years ago the cumulative effect still disturbs me and I think it increased after having three major surgeries in one year with the anesthetic added in

This is a problem that should have been recognized by the medical profession decades ago. I sympathize with the professional athletes that were lied to about their readiness to play despite their injuries.
