Am I missing something, or are there almost no films about the Dutch East India Company?

Often thought of as the first big multi-national corporation, I'm not having success at finding anything on IMDB, or even asking this question on Google.

Just use the company name for the search. But I didn't see any films as in movies, just educational video type things.

Thus, how do you romanticize THAT into a sympathetic protagonist? So yeah, it makes sense, in that light, that there aren't really any films about the DEIC/VOC.

"United East Indian Company, referred to by the British as the Dutch East India Company..."

(AFI Motion Picture Catalog has nothing but false hits for (British) East India Company.)

... genocide, and exploitation, the only subjects of interest were America and England. By the time Hollywood got around to realizing that there is more to the world than just English-speaking countries, it was no longer fashionable to make films about imperialism, genocide, and exploitation.
