2. I used to work for an ex-landscaper

A lawyer tried to stiff him for the sod he laid. The lawyer refused to pay because his wife signed for the delivery. The landscaper returned at night and covered his lawn with time release weed killer. The grass died. Another landscaper was hired. The grass died. No matter what the lawyer did the grass died. The lawyer even came back and offered anything to the landscaper to get his lawn. The landscaper just laughed in his face. I think they eventually figured out that they had to remove all the black dirt and replace it before sod could grow.
