how often do you actually see your desktop? post a pic of yours

i never go to mine since everything that i need is already pulled up or accessible from the start menu. the husband changes mine from time to time, but i always forget what it is.

this is the last thing he set it to. it's a shot i took on cameron pass (colorado) in may. we were at 12k feet, so still plenty of snow

I have it saved in a bunch of places and keep the link for those inevitable times of computer malfunctions. I'm sorry about your late night friend. Some have that special something about them that stays behind - this one has a forever place.
