(38,958 posts)when home from school. I recall Edge of Night in particular in glorious B&W, but by the time things had moved into Prime Time in the 80's my TV watching overall was much less.
There were a few series along the way that caught my eye such as MASH, Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, Star Trek in it's several variations, The West Wing, Downton Abby and working slowly through Borgen (on Dvd) now, but they are few and far between anymore.
